Marcomm Inc. is hiring for a Lead Interaction Designer!
As a Lead Interaction Designer with our client’s Health Information Systems Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Defining key user interface behaviors through the use of experience models, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, simulations, etc.
- Leading and facilitating UX design workshops with stakeholders & end users, building design artifacts necessary to conduct concept testing/usability testing.
- Leading multiple new design programs, redesign efforts, or continuous improvement projects in a dynamic, diverse environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Collaborating with other design disciplines, engineering, and data scientists to craft human-centered solutions that drive better outcomes in healthcare.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, our client requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited Institution.
- Five (5) years of experience design work in interaction design, user interface, product design for digital products in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- M.S. in Interaction Design, Design Strategy, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 7-10 years of experience as a UX practitioner (e.g., Interaction Designer, UX/UI Designer, Product Designer)
- Ability to create interactive design prototypes using tools such as Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, or HTML/JS/CSS.
