Electrical Designer

We are looking to hire an Electrical Designer to work on systems including power, lighting, communication, electronic security, and fire alarm systems projects for mission-critical and retail distribution centers to name a few.
Electrical Designer Responsibilities:
The Senior Electrical Designer has proven experience designing and analyzing electrical systems. This includes directly working on drawings, writing field survey reports, and performing design calculations. Besides, the Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for delivering coordinated design plans and documents under the supervision of the Electrical Engineer.
- Perform design calculations and electrical schedules
- Perform lighting design, including fixture selection, lighting controls, and photometric.
- Prepare low-voltage systems design, including fire alarm, security, and controls.
- Create power distribution documentation, including single line, schematic, and riser diagrams.
- Attend design and coordination meetings.
- Prepare and/or respond to submittal review, RFI responses, and changes.
- Mentor junior staff (designer).
- Conduct field surveys and construction phase support.
Electrical Designer Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, CADD, BIM/Revit, and other industry software.
Preferred Qualifications/Certifications:

- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or looking to take in the near future
- LEED Green Associate (LEED GA)
Minimum five (5) years of industry-related engineering design experience.
